Marketing Compliance Specialist
Job Summary:
As the Marketing Compliance Coordinator is to provide support as a day-to-day compliance partner for Fairway’s marketing, branch network (sales), and overall company. The Marketing Compliance Coordinator mitigates risk while helping to execute and deliver digital, print, multichannel, lead gen, and social media initiatives with appropriate direction, including content, disclosures, and more. The Marketing Compliance Coordinator will be executing risk and control procedures daily.
What you will do:
- Reviews all advertising and marketing collateral and tactfully communicates concerns and required edits.
- Explains the regulatory reasoning for the edits and recommends suggested alternatives to problematic material.
- Helps and contributes to creating and maintaining team and department resources including knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and templated responses to answer common questions.
- Assists in proactively identifying process/procedural improvements and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Helps to support the Street on systems, applications, and compliance subject matter.
- Communicates the compliance directives and best practices to others in the department, and attends and participates in industry training and continuing educationAssists with supporting Fairway’s third-party vendors and programs relating to advertising, digital marketing, lead generation, and social media to improve knowledge of compliance requirements with applicable regulations, rules, and industry issues.
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years experience in marketing, mortgage lending, compliance, banking or other relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience working to ensure protection from regulatory, reputational, and financial harm.
- Demonstrated experience with CRMs, lead generation, and Financial or Regulatory Technology preferred.
